Where can I get a wide target style trigger for a 14-4 ? Is it a drop in installation? SA pull is about 60 oz. how would be the best way to lighten it up? I would like to make this more of a Bullseye shooter.

Hi Dave,

I shouldn't tell you this and will probably have some armorers or members be mad at me, but the Smith&Wesson Revolver is one you can work on very easy IF you have learned from at least 2 AGI Videos (Smith Wesson Revolver and Trigger Job) as well as some gunsmithing books and if you have the right tools!
Really, you can do a very good job without ruining your gun and do exactly the same as some armorers. I must admit that after learning carefully and slowly all i needed to know, i did not ruin parts, but rather had to order new parts, sometimes oversized at numrich gun parts and work on those. The Model 14 is a good start and there are some minor differences in all the parts. Pay special attention to the trigger, hand, sear and hammer relation, if you change them with others. Changing and/or stoning of those and other parts would be a very carefully job, but worth it at the end. Look and listen closely at those videos, and be aware of things you can and things you shouldn't do and you will have yourself much fun and good results, as i did.
Indeed, i would spend the money for the videos and learn how all the parts works and interfere and what to pay attention to, if only for informational purpose.
Up to you to decide, if or not, you want to invest some money and plenty of time in it.
Steve
