I just got back a 642 done by Action By T I just bought the gun test fired it and sent it to Teddy Jacobson. I had him do his world famous action job he contoured and polish the trigger. Also he re- sprung the gun with wolff Springs put a longer firing pin in. I also had him chamfer and polish the cylinders he did not want to do it because he feels that I would not need to re-load the gun but I insisted on him doing it. I got lucky he was in between jobs so I got the revolver back in only a few weeks time. I do have many guns done by Teddy Jacobson and I’m always surprised with the action how silky smooth it is and I busted all kinds of primers Gold dot 135gr Corbon DPX 110 gr Federal hydra shock 110gr and my planking ammo American eagle and magtech. I didn’t post pictures because all the work is done inside. The only thing that is cosmetic is the jeweling of the front and back of the cylinder. I think it’s trademark besides the Action By T logo on the gun. I figured I just share this with anyone who is interested in first class action work or any kind of pistol work he’s pushing out stuff really fast and Teddy does not know how much longer he’ll be able to work on pistols so I figured I’d move on it.

He has been around a long time with a stellar reputation. I have never read a bad review about him. I'm glad that you are very satisfied with his work. I have never used him because I have used Clark Custom Guns in Princeton, Louisiana for years because I live nearby. The old man was one of the finest human beings that I had the pleasure of knowing and Jim Jr. was not very far behind him in his gunsmithing skills and his honest dealings with people. I miss them both.

I had no idea he was still out there working - I used to correspond with him and found him to be pleasant. I don't recall ever having heard anything bad about his work - man, maybe I should send an email . . . .

It had been posted here that Teddy had some health issues, was in the hospital for around 2 months and they thought he was going to die. He then finished his revovery at home. He is now back working on guns. In fact, I just sent him 3(1 full trigger job and then some, and the other 2 for some polishing and jeweling) last week. His wife Janet is taking appointments for gunsmith work. If you want any work done by Teddy, get your gun to him sooner, rather than later. He has done some excellent work on guns I have sent him in the past including making the worst trigger I ever had on a revolver and making it so smooth.

I’ve had a few guns worked on by Teddy, and have always been satisfied. I didn’t know he was still working, but glad to hear it. I used to live within about an hour of him, and got to sit and talk with him and watch him work a few times when I was dropping off or picking up a gun.

He is quite a character, but I sure learned a lot from him.
