Where the heck have ya been!!??? Susan Tedeschi was well known well before she married Drerck Trucks. Together, they are phenomenal!! They just toured through here a few months back
and played one Heck of a show !! If you ever get a chance to see them, Don't pass it up.

Derek Trucks , Butch Trucks' nephew, grew up around the Allman Bros. He joined them in '99 because of his prowess with a bottle neck.

I have long been a fan and an acquaintance.

Good stuff!

Thanks Joe.

Rusty, I can't tell you how I envy your acquaintance, and in many cases shared gigs, with all these folks. Tedeschi, Krall, Bonamassa, and on and on.

Too bad you're just discovering them now - Derek crushed this Van Morrison song, playing with Warren Haynes and the Allman Brothers a while back. In Boston. Enjoy:

Hey Lab, thanks for bringing these guys back for me.
Kind of lose track of what's good and sometimes need a reminder.

By the way, where you been hiding?
Seem to be scarce lately.

Just have been enjoying the summer, once the cold weather rolls in I'll be here more often.

I live a rather sheltered life.:D

TTB is a great ensemble.

I love the majority of their music, however I must admit there are times Susan's vocals get a little over powering and a bit annoying.

No disrespect meant, maybe more of a production criticism.

Tedeschi-Trucks Band is on Austin City Limits right now (Sunday at 9 pm Eastern), at least on the CT station. Watch the public tv listings in your town, as all the programs show up eventually.

I have country roots and love Bluegrass. I will listen to Nashville and enjoy it. IMHO, I don't like Susan's vocals and the rest of the band is ordinary. I will pass in the future. ..............
