Terrier Problem

Like new Terrier, 38 S & W, spotless clean, loaded ammo primers at spec, 50 rds fired, 5 light primer strikes. Fired second time around. I pulled the grips, made sure everything was straight and true, clean as a whistle, still problems. New ammo, same thing. Any ideas?

Replace the mainspring(or tighten the screw)

Spotless doesn't mean that the lube under the side plats hasen't gotten hard after all these years,,,
I would guess that the issue is there.
Detail strip and clean.
