My son is home for the summer working locally and had a few friends out at out ranch range recently. Two of these "boys" are accomplished college-level power-lifters, one is running for a Tier I university on an track/cross country scholarship, and one is a pistol instructor in the U.S. Coast Guard. All are between 19 and 21 and our range seldom sees that level of testosterone - certainly not when my friends and me occupy the space.

All great young men, intelligent and focused. The thing that may make me proudest about my son is the friends he chooses.
Our Coast Guardsman with a rifle he doesn't get to shoot in the Coast Guard. First time with a Garand and he loved it! Pretty good with it too. Pretty humbling comparing my marksmanship with theirs but at least I know what my firearms are capable of doing in good hands.
Had to include this pic of my son with one of our Garands. For his birthday in June I bit the bullet and bought a WWII era 10" bayonet made by American Fork & Hoe. I think he likes it.
My son with the (new to us) 1903 A3. It's a refurbished parade rifle currently being offered by the CMP. This rifle exceeds all expectations.
We had a great day. I did not fire a shot but kept busy making sure the "boys" stayed hydrated and had full magazines ready when they were. My wife came along and we fed them grilled burgers (many of them) will all the appropriate trimmings. These young men know how to eat!
