My son was just given a holster by the above maker with the stamps on the back as follows: 11TB 21B (4). I have been unsuccessful in finding what this holster was made to fit, anyone have an idea ?

I have seen a few Tex Shoemaker holsters marked 11TB that are all for
S&W K Frame revolvers. Don't know about the 21. (4) could be barrel
length? B Could be black or maybe basket weave. Lots of guessing,
but if you have a 4 inch K frame it might be worth trying.

I guess I could describe it ! It is a black, thumb break, basket weave holster.I have tried a 3 inch mod 65,a model 67 a 2 3/4 inch SP101,a 1 7/8 inch model 36 and nothing fits. The 3 inch 65 fits in the holster but the thumb snap is too far forward to hold the revolver in place.

So the 4 inch K Frame did not fit either? Would it fit if not for the adjustable rear sight? Thinking maybe a 4" K Frame with fixed rear
sight like a Model 10 for example.

Were the guns you tried too loose or too tight in the holster?

When you say the thumb break was too far forward to hold the revolver in place, it makes me wonder if it could be for a N-frame. Also, I wonder if "21B" could be a reference to a S&W Model 21, which is a N-frame. 11TB is probably the model of holster, with TB meaning thumb break.

Just guessing based on the information available.

The Vintage Tex Shoemaker holster I am selling on here is 4 TB, it had a 1950s 4” S&W model 18 that fit it perfectly , it is dark brown, basket weaved , I believe it’s T-tan/brownish , B- basket weaved , 4 - 4”rev. But not positive.

I'm not sure about that. I did try Googling the numbers OP posted, and saw a few 11TB holsters that were black. No luck finding 21B. I think crazyphil is right about 4 = 4", though.

I really appreciate everyone's help on this question. My 4 inch 67 will not go into the holster so it is for a three inch gun.My son was given this at a gun show and it appears to be slightly worn being thrown from box to box but it appears to be unused other than that.I tried my 3 inch 65 again and it will almost fit if I cut the hammer spur.Do you reckon the holster could have slightly shrunk over the years and was actually made for a 3 inch K frame?if so how do I un-shrink it???;)

Well last night I placed the model 65 3 inch in the described holster and pushed, pushed, pushed until I got the snap closed.I left it that way all night and now it seems to work but it is TIGHT !!:D:D:D
