Texas Dept. of Corrections Model 65

A few weeks ago, I posted pics of my California Department of Corrections Model 64 snubby. This is my Texas Department of Corrections 65-2, 4" barrel. This has a non-pinned barrel, but DOES have a recessed cylinder. Must date to late 70's, early 80's. I call it my "half & half".

My TDC marked gun (63254) is also a 65-2 but is pinned and recessed. Mine was sent back to the mother ship and bead blasted before I made my gun show buy 5 or 6 years ago. I bought mine to replace the last one that I carried on duty before transitioning to a 686 (which I only got to use for a year before they made us switch to a nifty nine.)
