Sir, one thing I've noticed about the "horrible Glock grip angle" is that it's remarkably similar to that of a Smith revolver with target stocks. :D

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

They may look similar but they don't feel the same. The Smith curves in more at the heel. My M&P nine settles back on target very nicely. My fastest time at clearing a line of bowling pins was with my M&P.

Disclaimer:
I've handled several Glocks but never fired one.

Add a Hogue slip on and it makes it a whole different gun. Ten years later and I finally try one. I will stop here or be guilty of "loving on Glocks" here. . .

Yeah, the "brick", "2X4" and unnatural grip never really resonated for me. Glocks work. Whatever you shoot the most, you'll shoot the best. Single action, double action, safe action, revolver, semi auto, steel frame, alloy frame, poly frame, ball in bucket, three dot, tritium, whatever...you get my point.

Semi-autos are like tough guys, all angular. Revolvers on the other hand are like beautiful women, sexy with lots of curves.

If we're supposed to look at that picture and exclaim that the grip angle on those two guns looks the same, it's not working for me, because they don't even look close.

Get the protractor out......

I've fired a couple of G*****. I didn't find the ergos all that bad. Actually surprised myself with the G19. Pretty accurate.

Don't have any plans on buying one, but if it was all I had I wouldn't feel at any particular disadvantage.

for the glock to fit your hand you have to hold it sideways

Well... MOST of 'em anyways... Some resemble more a lady shotputter...

I've never understood all the chest thumping about Glocks either way. I don't particularly like them, to me they're sort of boring, but my wife has one that she likes, and I admit, it's a good gun. I don't shoot it any better or any worse than I do any other gun.

As for the grip? It just feels like a Glock. Just like a 1911 feels like a 1911, and a K-frame feels like a K-frame. I can't say one is any better than the other. Just different.
