Last year I had a forum member donate a 1917 holster to be used to create a pattern for holster makers. This particular holster was a good candidate since someone had cut the toe plug out probably to accommodate a longer barrel. Anyway the patterns are ready for anyone who requests them. All you have to do is send me a PM and specify either an electronic copy in pdf or a hard copy if you're not set up to receive digital copies. If you want them sent via email please be aware that you need to be able to print them off on 11"x 17" paper. I put them on the largest size paper my work copier could handle. I'll also include a copy of instructions I wrote up to help you along. It's in draft form but if I wait until I find the time to clean it up it will never happen. Another caveat: I haven't actually made this holster since I don't have a Model 1917 revolver to go in it. Hopefully that will change. If you have any problems using the patterns don't hesitate to contact me. I'll check my PMs regularly so please be patient I will get back to you ASAP. And of course please post pictures of your completed holsters.
