Thanks for posting this - I didn't know about it. Sad news but a glorious life for sure! RIP LT!

Rest in Peace, Lt. - you earned it and now go with God. And Thank You for all you have done. Another of the Greatest Generation gone.

The second and third tour I served in the Republic of Vietnam was with the 3rd Battalion (Airborne), 506th Airborne Infantry, of the 101st Airborne Division. It has been my pleasure to meet and talk with many of the Veterans of Easy Company of the 2nd of the 506th at 101st Airborne Reunions. Every year more and more of them pass away.

It is a great loss to our country that more and more veterans of WWIIm, Korea and Vietnam are passing away. And its too bad that more young people don't know or realize their courage and sacrifice. Last year I was giving a talk on Vietnam to my granddaughter's Middle School on Veterans Dan and one of the students wanted to know if I was in World War Eleven too.

CURRAHEE, Buck, you were a fine gentleman to talk with.
One of the true Heros of our Country and the 101st.

I wonder how many of 'E' Company are left? Dick Winters passed away last year, I think.

Rest In Peace Boys....

Yes, and so did Shifty Powers. I think that Wild Bill is still roaming the streets of Philadelphia, albeit on one leg.

Go easy Buck. Your reward awaits...
