Like many others, I am in the habit of picking up a few boxes of ammo every soften when I see ammo that I use at good prices. I always joke about having my 10,000 rounds. I bought some new sturdier containers for my ammo and took a census. I was wrong - I counted 15,000 rounds. I guess that I am ready for the zombies.

15,000 rounds? I hope you have a lot of guns to swap out when the Zombies come and they get too hot to shoot. My own stash is about twice that, mostly 40 and 45, with a lot of 38. Then there's the .223 and 31 Russian rounds.......thank heaven for stout floor joists!

You may have heard on the news about a southern California man put under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had (by rough estimate) 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel.

My favorite quote from the dimwit television reporter: “Wow! He has about a quarter million machine gun bullets.” The headline referred to it as a “massive weapons cache”.

By southern California standards someone owning 100,000 rounds would be called “mentally unstable”. Just imagine if he lived elsewhere:

In Arizona , he’d be called “an avid gun collector”.

In Texas , he’d be called “a novice gun collector”.

In Utah , he’d be called “moderately well prepared”, but they’d probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food.

In Montana , he’d be called “The neighborhood ‘Go-To’ guy”.

In Idaho , he’d be called “a likely gubernatorial candidate”.

In Wyoming , he’d be called “an eligible bachelor”.

In Wisconsin , he’d be called “a deer hunting buddy”.

And, in Alabama , they just call him “Bubba”.

I'm not familiar with import laws, but I would look into the various internet companies & see if they ship to Canada.

Don't take the ribbing on this forum seriously. The rule of thumb here is you can't have too much ammo/components or too many guns. 15,000 rounds is a very good start.
If the political winds take a sharp left, you will be the most popular guy in your neighborhood.
