This weekend was the big regional match at my club around Harrisburg, PA. I fired in the rimfire segment of it yesterday. And now, the time has arrived to hopefully completely remedy the vision issues that I've been working around to keep shooting over almost the last 2 years. The retinal hemorrhage in my right eye has been declared to be cleared up with no after effects. On Tuesday I go in to have the cataract removed that was developing while waiting for the retinal hemorrhage to clear up. Thank you everyone for your concern and support over the last almost two years.

It was O-dark 30 on Tuesday when I went in for the cataract surgery on my right eye, and the surgeon told me that everything turned out great. When I went to his office later that day (he is also my regular eye doctor) he had me read letters on the electric eye chart with my uncorrected right eye and for the first time in 60 years I could read the letters halfway down the chart whereas when I got my first pair of glasses with my corrected right eye I couldn't read the big "E" on the eye chart. So it looks like I will be getting new glasses soon because my nearsightedness in my right eye has been diminished significantly. Hopefully my shooting will improve now.
