The "BULLITT" car chase scene

The movie was on ME TV last week. I wondered if anything ever broke on the cars as they came down with sparks flying on the air born parts of the chase. MR. Majestic was also showing. Yeah that Ford p/up did some high flying jumps.
I did notice in the warehouse scene it looked like the revolver Steve was holding and got knocked out of his hand was a Colt Python. I also figured a Python wouldn't have fit in his upside down shoulder holster.

If you talking about Bullitt, he had a Colt Diamondback, which is one of sexiest snubbies ever made.

If you are anywhere near Tacoma, one of the two Mustangs used in 'Bullitt' is at the local car museum for a while.

I have a 2001 Bullitt special edition. I've put 155,000 miles on it.

It's now my foul weather car; daily driver is a 2016 GT350. Love my Mustangs.

The bounty hunter was “The Hunter”, and Max Sand was “Nevada Smith”

And the last one would be Sam Peckinpah’s “The Getaway” from 1972. Was later re-made with Baldwin and Basinger.

Both versions of the Getaway were quite good.

Haven't seen Bullitt in years. Didn't he carry a Colt Diamondback .38 with 2.5 inch barrel?

Hello, my neighbor has a 2008 bullet mustang, bought it new, he takes it out about once a week, It puts a smile on my face every time I hear it!!!
Semper paratus

If you look closely during the last few frames of the chase, the Charger goes off to the road and supposedly hit a tank and explodes. You can see the Charger going behind the tank for just a split second.

This is a fact. Slow motion on DVR makes it obvious.

How cool would it be for Barrett-Jackson to produce the CHARGER FROM BULLITT (!) at auction?

Most would think it impossible (their not fully understanding that movies aren't real).
