Lots of folks wonder: "What does an unsupported chamber look like?" "How can I tell if my firearm has one or not?"

Well, son in law #2 has come to visit and brought along the Glock 22RTF. Since I now am the proud owner of a full size M&P in 40S&W, I thought I would get a picture of the difference between the two.

The one on the left is from the Glock and the one on the right is from the M&P. The difference is readily seen. I wish I had an older G22 to compare these to. This RTF is a Gen 3 too. If someone has a Gen 4 or Gen 2 or earlier and could get a current comparative picture, it would be good to post here.

Just thought I would share......

Here is my G22 RTF2 (on right) compared to my S&W Sigma 40 barrel.

Nearly identical as far as I can tell.
Your RTF2 barrel looks to have more exposed brass than mine. But that may just be the angle of the picture too.

Yep! Looks really close to me. THANKS for the great pictures and post too!

Someone got some more? I wish I still had my Browning High Power!

Probably part of the reason SW got sued (and lost) by Glock for the patent infringement of the Sigma. The whole gun was a copy of the Glock.
