I've noticed here in Oregon, the only thing that makes a lib wake up and take notice is if THEY have to pay for something they vote for. Like 2 new tax measures on this upcoming ballot. Our liberal rag, the oregonian, came out with an op-ed AGAINST it. The first time I can remember them doing so. And only because THEY themselves will have to pay it. Any body with a "D" next to their name is as bad as the one leaving. Until everyone figures that out, it's hopeless.
