"The Hghwaymen" coming to Netflix

Anyone else looking forward to this film about Frank Hamer and Maney Gault? Instead of looking at Bonnie and Clyde it focuses on their pursuit of them and their characters. Supposedly the most fact based dramatization. Hope so.

I really love period "cops and robbers" flicks. I know there was a very limited theatrical release but Netflix is counting on it's subscribers for this one.

That should be good. Frank Hamer was given a Colt engraved with a message of gratitude from the citizens of Corpus Christi, Texas after he sorted out some bad goings on in Nueces County.

What's interesting is that the Bonnie & Clyde hunt was only a small episode in Hamer's career both before and after the event, it's just the one he's most famous for.

Just finished the Texas Ranger book which was about Frank Hamer. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie.
The one thing I noticed about the trailers is that they are not telling you who's playing Bonnie and Clyde so as to keep the story directed to Hamer and not them!

I figured a few of you would be interested lol. I've read a few books on the Rangers as well as Hamer and glad that he and Gault are the focus. I can see both Costner and Harrelson portraying them well.
