Recently I thought that I lost my SOG Twitch II.
Found it on my SUV passenger seat? ?
Put it back in knife drawer, carrying another one.

One day I lost the Griptilian my wife gave me for Christmas. As soon as I got home, I ordered a replacement. The next day, I found my missing knife, lying on the pavement next to my bus. The replacement became a birthday present for my son-in-law.

A while later, I lost a 555 Mini Barrage. I replaced it, too, but i could only find it with a black-finished blade. When I saw the stainless blade in Cabela's, I snapped it up as a spare. That knife isn't going anywhere.

I recently lost a Grayman Dua. ($275.00). I "win" AND lose. I won't be replacing it any time soon.

I had a Buck 110 that I'd had for many years. I was using it to clean the battery terminals on my CJ-5. I must have left it on the radiator, as I never saw it again.

Now, as they say, the rest of the story. That Buck had been my constant companion for a long time. In the early 80's, I worked at the Calloway Nuclear Plant during construction. There worked an older fellow who tinkered around with knives. He made a few, and would tinker with stuff you had ideas on. He would take a Buck 110 or 112, and cut and fit finger grooves into the handle, and diamond facet the brass faces. His work was beautiful.

I treasured that knife, and carried proudly. One day, while cleaning rabbits on the side of a railroad spur, I stuck it into a tie beside my foot. During the course of cleaning the rabbit, my foot moved and neatly sheared off about 3/8" of the blade tip. I was devastated.

I boxed it up and sent it back to Buck with a letter telling them what I had done and how special the knife was to me. I asked them to replace the blade, regardless of cost. I received confirmation that they had received the knife, and were working on it.

Work at the plant had gone to 12-14 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. I got busy and had forgotten about my knife. Six months later, I received my knife back with a new blade, no charge. I was tickled to death.

About a year later, Buck introduced their Model 110 FG, the finger-groove copy of my knife. Coincidence?

Hope you stainless. Stays put. The lost sog had a stainless blade. The new one is black blade. I liked the stainless better. I got to go get a tube of super glue. And put s few drops on the saftey. I did that with the lost one too .it works. Great. You will never have to worry. About the saftey. Being on after that.

I think it depends on the design of your pants pocket. My SAK habitually slides out when I'm driving, and I have to run the seat all the way forward to be able to grab it. It does this with one pair of pants but no other. Unfortunatly I like that pair of pants for other reasons.
