The Magnolia Theater, El Cajon, CA

Can anyone comment about the overall safety of the area around the Magnolia Performing Arts Theater in El Cajon, Ca (210 E Main St, El Cajon, CA 92020). There are some hotels less than a mile away from the theater and it would be nice to stay at one of those places and walk to the show instead of having to drive and find parking.

I have no personal knowledge of this area, but I can not imagine anyplace in El Cajon,Ca. that would present a safe stroll of a mile to an event, especially at night, remember it will be a two way trip. Good luck on your adventure.You might contact the local PD, they are pretty good at giving advice.
