This isn't exactly "fresh" news, and has in fact been discussed at length elsewhere prior to this post. However, the ramifications of it could have far reaching consequences for firearms owners if changes are ever made to the "mental health" criteria of the current NICS system. Granted, at this point these musings are just theory and conjecture, but this information gives me pause for thought as to what the real motives of "improved" background check legislation are depending on how fast and loose the "other team" wants to play with the definition of "mental illness."
