It is pretty and Scott does some amazing photography, but "perfect"? It may fit his needs perfectly though.

It can but you're accessories will be worth more than the rifle.

In the old days it used to just take some money. In the new days, it takes more money and a good dose of luck that your accessories are in stock and not on backorder for 6 months.:D

Yep that is a nice looking 15-22. Sling maybe? Or maybe it's just a model and doesn't go outside. Joking Scott, good job!

Perfect for Scott and more power to him. It might just fit you like earmuffs on a fish! Everybody has a particular vision for their own rifle and an individual way to use it. I recently found that having a grip under the forestock didn't really work for me comfort or accuracy-wise. Now I have my old vertical grip mounted on the left side of the forestock end and backwards (!) so I can control the muzzle better and work the laser switch easier. I've also found that pointing my left index finger in the direction I'm shooting seems to improve my targeting. It works for me but I will admit it looks funny as hell!

I am curious what type of light/laser that is in the first 2 pics. Also the grip over the serial number?

im kinda wondering how good that slide fire stock works with all the junk he hung on it--seems front heavy to me,i found the lighter the better they run.

It's a Mako. Has to be modified to fit the 15-22 (Not difficult from what I hear) as the 15-22 is slightly wider than the AR models.

Mako Fab 223 Rifle Mag Well Funnel Grip MWG Black | eBay

It's a bear to mount and a TON of file (Dremel),fit, file fit... and it STILL doesn't fit all that great because of the 15-22 width and you get REALLY close (too close),to the mounting screws. As you can see on "his" photo, the top of the grip is showing the joint crack. The Mako Handgrip DOES fit the S&W FS Modern Sporting Rifles just fine. Rock River (CMMG lower) is a little too wide too.

I'd shop around and make sure the one you find WILL fit a 15-22. There are ones out there that would fit as is.

Do you know which ones will fit out of the box... Dont really want to have to rework a 20 dollar part..

Sorry, but if it isn't a pic of one at the range or in the field, it's far from perfect.

I'll disagree again. I married her.

Ha! If I could have a nickel for every poor sap who walked down the isle thinking that...

She may be perfect for you (at least for the time being), but there is no perfect anything aside from the man upstairs...

I classify most of these parts as the same as putting chrome parts on your car. While they appeal to some they serve no real function. I bought some of that stuff first off but then started shooting more in competition and discovered that 99% had no business on there if you actually need to shoot and shoot fast. Now all the good stuff is on the inside where you really need it to actually shoot. The outside looks more minimalist, except for either the red dot or the 1-4x scope.
