The spring fishing trip

The boys finally sent me a thumb drive filled with photos. Here are a few showing Old Grampa holding the 23" brown trout taken on White River below Bull Shoals Dam, 4 generations of the family on a 16' jon boat, and a grandson showing us how to hook smallmouth bass on Bull Shoals Lake.
That's a beautiful trout you have there!
:D:DWith a good grip like that, couldn't you stretch it another inch to keep it?:rolleyes:

"Hey Ex, That was a fine story. Keep 'em coming"

Glad that you enjoyed sharing it, but sadly will not be on the river again until next April or there about. :)

My wife and I spent a month on Bull Shoals either five or six years. We fished for Small Mouth Bass. It is indeed a pretty lake but you have to be careful because you can be at a 150 ft. depth and the next moment over a gravel bar a ft. deep.
For three years our cabin was on a high bluff not far from the edge. It had a big picture window and while eating you could watch the eagles soaring around at about your level or lower.
