My SIL gave me her old Nook tablet. I am wondering if the Standard Catalog of S&W is available to download? I haven't used it yet, but I think that would be a good reference book to start with. Good idea or not?

I have the Kindle version and use the Kindle app on my desktop and laptop.
It seems it is also available for the Nook.

That's good information. One more question. Since I don't know much about tablets and the Nook in general. Is it possible to look up a page number and then go directly to that page? Or is it a problem to go from page to page? I think this would be unique have this info available at all times. Thanks

It should be easy to navigate, much better than a paper book
I have been using the Kindle app and they are competitive products so probably have similar features

I own a Kindle. In my opinion, the standard Kindle would not be an enjoyable way of viewing the Standard Catalog. It works fine with print but combined with pictures you will be disappointed. It is possible that using the Kindle program on an iPad you might have better results. I own an iPad also but haven't used the Kindle app on it yet.

I kinda just like going thru the hardcover book,like the old days,just seems more enjoyable.Anyone know if a new edition is coming out anytime soon,the 3rd edition is old and getting outdated.
I just bought the 3rd edition. With my luck that should mean that the new edition will be out any day now.
