The Tall Men is on the retro cable channel this afternoon at 3:19 CST. it is a pretty decent western. I sure would like to know where they get all of the horses and cattle? there must be a cast of several riders as well

Like most Clark Gable and Robert Ryan films during the actors' heydey years, this western is worth watching, once anyway, and director Raoul Walsh was one of the best, even if "Tall Men" wasn't his greatest work. Jane Russell... I'm not sure...

Most westerns are better than the Schiff that Hollywood puts out today.
