If a K Frame 617 can hold ten x .22lr cartridges, how many could an N Frame hold? I would estimate about 15. I would like to see a 15 shot N Frame S&W Revolver produced.

The majority of .22lr pistols out there are usually just 10 rounds in capacity. I think a 15 round Revolver would be great fun.

I would want something lightweight as new and junior shooters hone their skills before going to centrefire. I think something like the S&W 327 trr8 would be a great platform for this design. Or maybe the shorter 4" barrel like the 325 Thunder Ranch.

Thoughts?

No... thoughts.

Sorry, my brain just popped a diode at the suggestion of such an animal!!!

Where's the Tylenol?

Ah, a high capacity assault revolver...:)

Actually, it would probably sell to the non traditionalist revolver shooter if it could be done.

Not a bad idea if the frame could be made from aluminum, and do away with the full length barrel lug

I did the math. Only 13 .22 LR would fit in an 8 shot frame, or 9 .32 mags in an 8 shot frame.

I don't think a 13 shooter would sell very well. It would probably be bad luck for the maker.

N frame .22?

I got one, but it only has 6 shots.

Someone had a .455 British service revolver converted. Rear sights from a model 27 were added.

It is heavy. But it's also a tack driver.:D

And they don't grow on trees either.:D
