Hi all, just back from the range where I was trying out a used 586 I bought last Saturday. I took along a four inch 1905-4th in 38 Special that I think is a 1940-41 vintage gun that has been reblued with a set of Parker Hale grip's on it. I call it my bargain blaster from the low purchase price. I've posted this one before. Anyhoo, I shot it off hand at fifteen yard's double action for a full box worth and have posted a pic of the result's. I really dont think these old gun's take a back seat to anything! It may not be collectable anymore but I can forgive that. Thank's for looking, I just had to show her off a bit!

It surely shoots better than me. Great shooting. Thanks for showing us.

I bet you made her feel good, getting taken to the range and allowed to do what she was made to do.

Great shootin', Bob! My freinds can keep their Glocks and Springfield XYZ's or whatever. I'll stick with solid old wheelguns like you have here. I showed my son my (hopefully) original nickle New Service and he looked at it like I showed hm a new curling iron. But he loves his 3913 I gave him. I think I'm going to cry!

Hey Bob, Good shooting my friend. Anyway, how ya been? We got to get together again sometime. Have you given any thought about playing cowboy again?

Take care.

Yes they do, I guess a little more time was spent making them compared with todays guns.

Thank's for the kind comment's all! Sorry John, Betty Grabel was not available for a photo shoot, from your pic it look's like you are going to do some serious blasting yourself! Hey Matt, dont worry he will come around to the good stuff. Big Fred, havent seen ya on the forum lately, good to see ya, you are right we will have to get together soon and ole Winchester 1 too! Na I just cant get into the compitetion thing again, burned out I guess.

Great old gun and good shooting with it.

Great old photo but where is the hearing protection. I'll bet there are a couple of deaf old ladies somewhere.
