Welp, the revolvers just keep on multiplying in my safe!
The 640 finally got out of the 3 day waiting period (don't get me started on Vermont turning all Fascist of late) and joined it's bigger 'Smith brethren.
Range day tomorrow, as it will be a balmy 40 degrees in VT and I have the week off (being a teacher has some benefits).
Full report to follow. I have 38 Spec, 38+P and 357 magnum to feed this hungry trio and will get back to y'all with results.

The 19 is a "dash 7" variant.
It seems to mirror the -4 variant of my 66 snub regarding features and changes.

I'd actually like to know the "born-on" date and should post serial number here to ask for help on that.

I think the 19-7 was made in the mid to late 1990s?

Vermont went from NO restrictive gun laws to now having magazine restrictions (10 round mag limit for rifles, 15 round limit for handguns), no private sales, raised the minimum age to buy a rifle (from 18 to 21) and the 3 day waiting period.
