Not sure why cause he's been gone for a while, but I thought a memory photo was in order and I couldn't think of a better place to show it than here.

Very nice - a great way to remember him. Thanks for posting.

I have my Grandpa's Fox Sterlingworth 20 gauge bird gun. I still hunt with it, and its the first material object I would grab if the house was on fire.

Hi Mike

Here's a better shot of just the gun...nickel with what I believe is a blued trigger guard and faded case trigger.

Pace, Another VERY nice old revolver! Thanks for the pics. Do you have any history on it?... Have you lettered it? Thanks, Jerry

I'm envious. My grandpa died early last year.
He had a couple guns -- nothing valuable or rare... a Marlin .30-30 with Weaver scope, a .32 H&R revolver, and a samurai sword (all from "back in the day").
The two guns were MIA and the samurai sword went to my pacifist (!) uncle.
C'est la vie. I'm already working on building memories with "inheritance guns" for my kids.

I guess its just the pictures. To me, it looks like very highly polished
unfinished metal. It doesn't seem to have the shine, or slightly yellowish
tint, of nickel .

Looks nice, tho.

That's as wrong as two boys kissing!

A man's weapons should go to a person in his family who will appreciate them for what they are, and use them if need be.
