Opinions? I only have 9 S&W revolvers and need to even it out to 10. I have 2 - 19's, 2 36-1's (B & N), 1 - 36, 1 K-22, 1 - K-38 14, 1 - K-38 CM, DA 4th model 32.

I'm looking at a 4" nickel 67-1. So what do y'all think is a good price to be looking for in this regard? Anything to be aware of in this model?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks, I was wondering because of the "6" but the one I'm eyeing sure looks like nickel. Stainless is good also!

I can't imagine you'll hate it. A K frame in .38 w/ the forgiving stainless finish... If the price is right, who says no? Heck I'd love to have one too just for grins. Would look great in anybody's collection!

Buy one and post pictures! (Sorry, we're the worst enablers out there).

Good guns, I've had one for close to fifty years. But it doesn't do anything that other guns in your collection already have covered.

A Model 67 is on my “buy on sight” list. Buy that thing. Depending on condition $700 and down would have me thinking.

Figured I show this one for sale at a small gun shop down the road. Early no dash with stainless finish rear sight. Has a little rash on the butt including the frame but other than that pretty nice shape. It would look good with one of my sets of Guy Hogues. I was surprised to find it was shipped late 1972 or so.

I'll have to check my SCoSW - I didn't know Model 67s came with six-inch barrels. And that finish has to be polished stainless - like JackM, I dislike polished stainless. Just remember, to most collectors of older guns, that devalues them considerably. For example, I bought this no-dash Model 67 with no stocks for just $300 because it looked like a 1960s car bumper; I then paid my gunsmith $115 to go over it completely and restore the brushed stainless finish.

They didn't. The OP was referring to the "6" in M67.

The M68 was a special order 6" stainless .38 special for the CA Highway Patrol. The LAPD also bought some.
