I figured this would be the place and you would be the guys who would know the answer to this question. What is the replacement life of the various springs on Third Gen semi autos? For example, Gen 5 Glocks claim 5,000 for the recoil spring and 10,000 rounds for all other internal springs.

I posted recently that I've switched back to carrying my 6906 as my edc and I've put 600 or 700 rounds through it in the last 2 months refamiliarizing myself with it as I switched from my Glock 32. I put all new springs in it 2 months ago including the extractor spring. What life span should I expect before they need replacement? I asked Smith and Wesson and they just sent me a .pdf for a generic manual.

Given that S&W no longer has replacement receivers, I would replace the recoil spring in a compact 9mm every 2500-3000 rounds. Recoil springs are cheap, cracked receivers are irreplaceable.
