Well, let me clear one thing up - I've never tried cocaine - but I've known and seen plenty of people who have, and this forum seems to have the same effect on me that cocaine does on them.
I'm addicted. I come here several times a day. I start with the SWCA area, move up to the For Sale section, work my way through there, then on to Gunsmithing and Reloading, up to the the revolver sections, down to the semi auto pistols, then finish with the Lounge. By the time I through there, it's time to start the cycle over again.
But it's not just the knowledge here, it's the friendliness of the people and their trust in other members. The various Karma posts in which people not only give stuff away, but they even pay the shipping, the fund raising for a member down on his luck, and another member that sold me a needed part and shipped it before I even had a chance to write a check, all make this place more like a local bunch of friends than a lot of faceless posters on a forum. And let's not forget being able to ask newbee questions without receiving answers that we're stupid.
So yes, this place is addictive. But it's an addiction I can live with and glad I have!
