weeks for this old timer. Charlie Sherill has retired. Gun control legislation, fiscal cliffs everywhere, Republicans, Democrats. Just a minute ago on Houston news a guy tried to rob a gas station with a can of gasloine and a bic lighter. (we must limit those five gallon cans to only two or sumpin).
Yesterday I got in the mail a nice card from the Neptune Society. I thought they were wanting a donation for Flipper or such. It is a crematory for Petes sake. They want to reduce me to ashes.
Then just today I get a letter saying that I am eligible for "a free mobility study" compliments of the Scooter Store. And, I get a free lighted magnifier with absolutely no obligation. Now there is an idea whose time has come. I can use that.
Then I am inundated with news about the Notre Dame linebacker and his fantasy. Did I ever tell ya'[l about the time 40 years ago I almost had an affair with Tuesday Weld? She was in town, I had a fifth of whiskey and a motel room, and she didn't show up.
Anyway I bought a coupla guns this week so it was all good. See what you got to look forward to Charlie? Congrats, once again, you've earned it Watch for your cards and letters coming to a mailbox near you.
