My understanding is that Smith & Wesson purchased Thompson Center in 2007. I was wondering if any new Encore rifles are still being produced? I'm having some difficulty trying to buy one and have been told by several dealers in my area that the rifles are on a very long backorder or just not available any more. Any info you can send my way will be most appreciated. Thanks!
