A guy I know came to me and said he had a couple of .32's for sale. One of which just happened to be a S&W. He didn't have it with him then and he said he would bring it by later. When I asked him what he wanted for it he said "at least $100.00". I'm thinking it has to be one of the model of 1903 variants and for $100.00 I can't go wrong. Anyhow, when he comes back the first thing that comes out of his mouth is that after looking at the gun he now wants $150.00. He pulls the gun out and hands me a .32 M&P with a 4" barrel. sn. C295xx. If photobucket would work for me right now I'd post a pic.

Glad you resisted the temptation to say "I'll give you $600 and not a penny more" ;).

OK, so this was originally posted in like 1963, right? Some kind of time warp ?
It is great that he made some money too- win win.

The guy I got the gun from came by today to show me his new custom bolt action rifle he was able to buy with his extra money. He was real happy about getting it. He also wanted to show me his .38 nickle plated lemon squeezer with the real pearl grips. I might try and trade him out of it someday. After all, them ones with the short barrel are hard to come by.
