Thoughts on 10-7 price at LGS??

LGS has this in the case. They’ll take $550 OTD. I usually like to buy as collector / investment. Bluing is pretty good. Barrel bluing is slightly dull compared to the rest of the gun. Is this a good deal? Thanks.

I'd say that it needs original grips and not the rubber ones to hit $550.

It's tagged at about what I'd expect to see where I shop. Not a great deal but not unreasonable if you want one and the price is probably somewhat negotiable. I think the 10-7s came with wooden grips so those on it are probably not factory but would be fine for shooting and carrying. Good luck.

475-500 OTD. I see no collector value there. Probably 75.00 to put magnas on it. Also, pull the grips to make sure there is no rust under them

If you are buying, as you say as a collector/investment, that gun doesn't meet that category. It is a shooter. It needs to be unfired, all original condition, and box and all the correct paperwork, screwdriver, and cleaning brush to be an investment. As a shooter, I would go no higher than $450 OTD. No screwdriver (SAT). It is a fixed sight revolver.

Otherwise, I agree with your assessment. It's a shooter. It does get a slight premium for having the 2" barrel, but six bills is over the top IMHO.
