Three Letter S/N Prefix: 19 S&W Autos w/Factory Letters

I currently have 19 S&W 3rd (except for one 2nd *) generation pistols. Over the years I have obtained factory letters on all of them. Here is a list of model mumber, S/N prefix, and date of shipment per the factory letter.

My S&W 1006 starts with TES and I purchased it in March of 1990.
I wish I knew then what I know now...I like all of my 3rd gen guns.

Nope. If I was, I would have kept the other half dozen or so 3rd generation pistols that have passed through my hands in the past four years.

I started this thread because I'm such a nerd that I got letters on all these guys and know exactly when they shipped form the factory. So, I thought I would share the prefix info. Of course, I'm also pretty proud of all these guys. All of them are at least 95% and most are 98%+.

Necro thread, but interesting info, if you order the prefixes by year it is pretty linear until you get to 1997.
