Had my 686+ apart for a good cleaning and gave it a light polish using Mother's. Originally when I bought it new, the "satin finish" looked like it was done with 40 grit sandpaper.

What grips (stocks) are those. Can't say I have ever seen those?

Altamont Falconia. They come in different colors & textures. They came stock on my PC 642 J-frame and I liked them so much I got them for this 3-5-7 Series 686+. The stock grips pictured below(also made by Altamont) on this were very uncomfortable to shoot with. The Falconia's filled my hand better and are excellent for absorbing recoil.
