News? Yes, I listened to it.

The only news I watch is the News Flash bulletins, quite informative, and it's possible to perhaps learn something. ;)

I just saw a News Flash bulletin a few minutes ago...

Dateline...Brooklyn New York...

Harry Oblong, a retired NYC city bus driver, said that he is holding that state hostage and will not release it until he is paid fifty million dollars in cash.

Mr. Oblong, whom state officials say "isn't playing with a full deck," says he will not disclose the whereabouts of the state of New York but says it has enough food and water to last for ten more days.

Shoot, watch hot rod shows, shoot, listen to old music, shoot, and drive hot rods.Life is short. The news sucks.24 hours to fill now that cable is here.;) Did i mention shoot?

Reading my morning newspaper over my second cup of coffee keeps me informed without annoying commercials and all the sensationalizing crap from the talking heads on TV.

I don't have TV at home, my radios have tuning dials and on-off switches, and I have mastered the Fine Art of Tuning Out.

Amen Cowboy! I leave the room if anyone's watching the news now days. The 24/7 news has made it useless never anything good. I think the M.J thing is going to end up like O.J trial. The wife she wants to watch ET Noooooooooooooo. I told her we have four other tv's find another channel or another tv. I am sick of the M.J thing.

When my wife turns the TV on, I go upstairs. When I want news, I go to A Free Press for a Free People . I sometimes glance at the newspaper in the library. I haven't subscribed to a regular newspaper since we lived in Fairfax VA, and then we got the Washington Times. Sad state of affairs when we can't get a decent newspaper without having the Koreans bail us out.

Bah, humbug!

I never watch the network news. Maybe some local stuff but as soon as I hear "the president _______", off it goes.

+1 on that one...the local and national news is beyond annoying, especially the local, they try to make it so dramatic...there is an apt fire on the east side!! So the bleep what, I don't live there neither do my friends.

The news channel I watch mostly is CNBC. Mostly because I learn useful info from them. Like certain pricipals of investing and economics. Do some personalities have an agenda or bias on the show? I am sure they do but my mental poop filter has a decent micron rating.

In honor of Ted Kennedy's passing this Halloween I am going to find the biggest pumpkin possibe. The beuty is no carving is needed to memoralize him.

I watch a few minutes of the local news each day, mostly to find out what they expect the weather to be. Other wise it is the conservative talk/news on satelte radio.

I stopped watching the "PROPAGANDA" called news before the election last year knowing the media was going to get the wrong guy elected.I find that not being subjected to thier daily dose of senseless babble make my day go better. They can't even get the weather right how can I trust them to tell the truth about world affairs??? I am going to continue living my life and I'm not going to allow myself to go crazy worrying about the stuff I can't control.

Watch FOX News & Business almost exclusively. It's disgusting to me how the mainstream media covers the news today

Fox news is about all I watch, when I watch TV news.
I cannot stomach the Atlanta local stations on regular days let alone after TK went tango uniform.

I watch Fox News mostly. NBC,CBS & ABC all going under like the printed press. Our local red rag of a newspaper is losing circulation like the bigs ones are. If T.K. funeral is anything like M.J's was I will listen to Rush replays. That's while I'm reloading cartridges for some fogotten project. Anyone have a 100 .222 Rem. brass they aren't using?

I can't even watch The Weather Channel anymore?
Between their doing "weather's greatest hits" and global warming Polar bear drowning hit pieces to fill time, especially when what I'm looking for is the freaking WEATHER! I'm to the point I don't even believe their satellite imagery any more? As for the MSM news, I can't recall the last time I've watched more that a snippet of theirs? I'll typically bounce between FNR, ABC network radio news. If something has been spun or hyped I then go check it out on internet sites. I'll bet I've not watched more than 2 hours a week of even entertainment TV in 5 years?
