Yep, 25 years now. I lead Hells Revenge trail on Big Saturday (this was the 15th year, and I tail gunned it the 9 before.) The last few I've also had Moab Rim with hike on Wednesday. I'm getting too old to lead the hike out across the desert.

Manufacturers are not making agricultural tires and shuttering their ag tire plants which is creating a "shortgage" as no one wants them in inventory.

Truckemup, I know that you can say "retread".

I just bought four tires for the Jeep Liberty for a total of $434.00 They are Trail A/P's supposedly made by Michelon. I think I got a pretty good deal.

Well shoot, Dick, I must have met you then. We've been on Moab Rim with the hike before, about 6 years ago. Got caught in a big rainstorm while on the hike. I was right behind the mid-gunner, who was from Austria (I think -- can't quite remember his name, drives a CJ7?). We went back to some hidden arch.

Been on Hell's Revenge with the EJS, but never on Big Saturday. Might just sign up for it next year -- last time I by-passed Tipover Challenge at my wife's request, but I know I'd have no trouble with it.

The mid gunner was Deiter, and he's from Leichenstein. Some years he brings along the entire Leichenstein army with him!

He's got a Phd in Chemistry. He keeps his jeep here in the US. They stay at the same Motel with us.

The arch is Pool Arch, aka Teardrop arch. Its down in the slot, and during wet weather its got water in the little pond under it. If you're the first one to get to the bottom, make sure you look for tracks. Lots of small criters, and sometimes big ones, too.

I remember the rain day. We were all soaked, but at least we weren't over heated like some years.

Yes, Deiter from Leichenstein! I knew I'd remember if I heard it. He spotted me over Devil's Crack, and I walked right up the Z-turn. Last time I walked right up the crack and struggled on the first ledge of Z-turn. Go figure!

Maybe I'll see you out there next year.
