Does anyone have a recipe for reloading .30 carbine cartridge's using Titegroup and 110 gr. FMJ's. I have been unable to find any information on this combination.

Thanks,
HAM

There is no data for Titegroup in this application. The 30 Carbine is intended for use in a gas operated semi auto which requires a much greater volume of gas than can be provided by Titegroup. 296 and H110 are the best choices as they were originally used in this cartridge.

Several rifle powders in addition to the H110 as mentioned.
I have used 2400 also. The H110 will give the most zip:D

MDaly and OCD1,

Great feedback to get me on the proper track. I had given no thought to the gas volume issue. So much to learn about reloading. Thanks to you both for the help.

If you are just starting out on this caliber, I would recommend the 2400 as it not only can be used in magnum handguns but can be downloaded a bit more that the H110. You do not have much leeway with H110, pretty much all or nothing (max load).

H110 should only be downloaded from max by 3%. The load data for Alliant 2400 is the max load and can be dropped 10%

Although Speer vol 18 does not confirm this so go figure?? I use what the powder folks say.
