I just received my copy of the 2nd edition of your excellent book Holstory. What a historically important work of art. Thank you for putting your hearts and minds into it. For those who have not made the plunge and ordered one, you are missing out on an experience certainly equal to acquiring that 'grail gun' you've always pined for. Mine is especially poignant for me as I live 'where the west begins' (Fort Worth). Great book!

I have a couple holsters in the first edition but had forgotten to show Red a Berns-Martin holster I have. A forum member I never met knew I was left handed and gave me a B-M lefty holster he found in a gun shop while out on a ride on his motorcycle. I think it was Mike in Washington or something like that. I feel bad forgetting his name. It turns out that Red said that holster is the earliest BM he ever saw with the exception maybe of Elmer Keith’s. It made it into the 2nd edition of the book. To me, though, it’s a great gift from a generous S&W Forum member.
