I wasn't sure what I had at first, and after getting home and carefully examining this first one, I'm still not sure...I was thinking .38 Combat Masterpiece at first since the 4" blued target sighted K-frame was not model marked at all...However, it does have the serial number stamped in the yoke opening as well as the bottom of the grip frame...But it only has three screws and no numbers on barrel flat nor cylinder...The serial number indicates 1967 production so it must be an unmarked Model 15; no clue on engineering changes but I suspect a -2...As a bonus it also has target hammer and trigger plus a trigger stop...No box and non-matching flat-bottom Magnas, just a very nice original finish gun...

Next given the interest in police marked revolvers I've been reading of here lately, I was drawn to a 5" factory nickeled Model 10-5...The backstrap is neatly stamped Detroit Police 12634...The C-prefix serial number indicates 1963-65 production, so I had to contribute a pair of black washer diamond Magnas from my secret stash to make it presentable...

Both are nice tight, well cared for revolvers that just needed a new home...No pics yet as they have not had their run through Dunkin Gunwash...I'll try to get them to stand still for mug shots afterward...:D...Ben
