The shows have been sparse in recent years, due to covid. Today's show was huge and very well attended. It would appear that due to the SC decision and NY's follow-up law, that everyone and their brother was out shopping.
I would estimate that half the crowd were old codgers (like me). I even saw a couple old ladies with canes or walkers looking at new pistols.
The lines in front of the NICS check booth and the 2 county pistol permit clerks contained 61 people (I counted). Thus, the time I was there 61 people were buying a gun.
$21.67 Wallmart .22 bricks were selling for $25 - $29. Primers are back....yeah. $130 - $170 a brick.
The Century Mausers and Mosins I bought for $29 - $39 back in the 1990's were selling for $550 and up.
The bargains at the show were Heritage Rough Riders. I never handled one before - boy they sure are rough.....LOL.
All in all a nice afternoon.
