Cruse has had vastly varying parts in many flix. I think he's pretty much nailed them all. For whatever he lacks in stature he makes up for in raw talent and dedication. He's a fine actor who does most of his own stunts and gives his audiences his all. He's a prolific actor and a money making machine. I find it difficult to razz him or his body of work.

I never saw Longmire until it was on Netflix. I think this forum and another forum that I participate in got me interested in the Longmire books.
I'vel actually read all of them up to First Frost before deciding that I was done with Longmire.
They were almost as ridiculous as the Reacher books. And after watching my way through the series Once I tried to watch it again because there wasn't anything else on TV to watch and I just couldn't do it.
I especially don't like the way Craig Johnson works all the pro disarmament arguments into his story lines. Gun registration in Wyoming, seriously?
If I can help it in any way not another dime of my money is going into his pocket.

A quick Interweb search found Randy Newman's height listed from 5'2" to 6', depending on source, including one that said he is now 5'8" but used to be 5'11". Anyone know how he identifies? (Tall, short?)

I've enjoyed Edge of Tomorrow and even the Mummy, the only Tom Cruise movie I've ever gone to see in the theater.

Personally not a Tom Cruise fan. I generally scroll right on by when searching for something to watch and he is in the character list. Just never warmed up to him and find him very boring.
Sadly, you are quite correct, and once you know how to spot artificial intelligence you see it everywhere. There are certain elements that AI does not currently get right, things which people behind the many Fakebook reels, posts, and streaming TV commercials don't know either, including lighting effects, focus, color values at various distances, facial muscle movement when speaking, etc.
When films of real people will have multiple filters applied which create a suspicion of fakery.
There is so much fake video, that soon people will begin to expect and insist that all video look this way.
You can also recognize AI by the subject matter as in this case, where we are clearly being suckered regarding Longmire. There is NO possibility of a new Longmire without comment from Robert Taylor and/or especially Katee Sackoff who has covered the possibility on her podcast and YouTube channel. Her interviews of other actors are quite interesting.
For those stuck on ones height and one being too small you need to read a book titled "The Giant Killer" or search Richard Flaherty Green Beret. Additionally no one is too short for a fictional characters role, that is why it is called acting.
