WHAT? You got some splain'in to do.

Drat...I thought it was obvious :(.
I was playing with a photo I took of my Model 41, and thought it would be fun to place it on top of a copy of the Constitution as a pro -2nd Amendment statement, then as I manipulated it in Photoshop, I created a "cutout" from the Constitution, and thought...."Oh,my..." this looks symbolic of the what the liberals want to do with our gun rights( ie: remove our constitutional rights to keep and bear arms).
Oh, well...sigh. Did anyone get it?

Maybe I should have posted my original photo:
Model41andConstitutioncopy.jpg

and just left it as it was (albeit, with pro gun undertones.)
Oh, and sorry for the typo in the title (I left out the "s")

I thought it was clever. reminds me of the old blaise pascal misquote about a "god shaped hole in every man."

i think the NRA and second amendment champions in general could do a better job marketing our side. should we have to? no, but the other side sure is doing their best to win.

Sorry, but I didn't get it until you explained it.

Clever idea, though. Perhaps I would have been quicker on the uptake if you'd placed the cut out over the Bill of Rights and over the second Amendment.

"Clever"...I like that! Thats more like it :D
I didn't quite have the Pascal in mind, however, when I created this. ..But I do agree with his sentiments:

What is it, then, that this desire and this inability proclaim to us, but that there was once in man a true happiness of which there now remain to him only the mark and empty trace, which he in vain tries to fill from all his surroundings, seeking from things absent the help he does not obtain in things present? But these are all inadequate, because the infinite abyss can only be filled by an infinite and immutable object, that is to say, only by God Himself.
Pensees #425 :)
