Any body use Tony Chachere's creole seasoning? It is really good stuff, I like to use a little then add cayenne. It is a little salty, so I try not to use a lot. My dad used to travel to New Orleans for work, and would bring it back, now i can find it locally.

It must be the real deal, I have seen it used a bunch of times on the alligator hunting show.

Checking out his sight now, he has lots of products.

Yes, I use it like salt, have had a container on the kitchen shelf for years. Also use a Texas product I like a great deal - Serendipity Salt, made in Weatherford, TX. Salt plus a bunch of spices.

Conchita lived in New Orleans for a few years, always keeps some on hand and often cooks with it. I like to dust it on eggs, either basted or hard-boiled.

I used it for many years, but over the last year or two I've switched to using Walker & Sons "Slap Ya Mama" Cajun Seasoning. They are both excellent but currently my tastes lean more toward S.Y.M.

We use it often at home. I had a customer from Argentina who fell in love with it on a visit to Louisiana, after that every time he came up he would bring some home, when someone from our company went down there we had to pack some for him. They also make a low salt version.

Love Tony's. But my favorite is Tex-Joy, made in Beaumont, TX... I use that stuff on everything!
