I took my 1917 Smith out to the range today. Haven’t shot it for a LONG time. 1918 production with British proofs. Tried it with a couple of my SWC loads. Accuracy was very good. Recoil with the 200 grain SWC’s was hardly there. 255gr SWC’s were very easy to handle.
