Traded into an older 41

If I got this boxed 41 in a straight across trade where the other item was valued at $500, I would definitely feel I didn't get hurt.

A-prefix serial, I see, but I can't make out the digits. Do you know how old this 41 actually is?

I had a guy contact me about getting into traditional archery. He said he'd trade me a 41 for a nice recurve. The bow was worth $500. I think I did ok? He threw in the grips he had sitting around. The box matches the serial number.

t4halo you did exceptionally good on the trade. If all is well with that pistol one could say you stole it, but that's such an ugly word. Let us know how it shoots for you but clean and oil it first to give it a good chance of working well for you. Don't lose any of the stuff that came with it either. The box is worth money too at the end of the day.

I only wish I came across deals like yours. I have lots of junk, err stuff I could trade!

Was never into archery much but used to hunt a little back in the day.
Had long, recurve, compound and cross bows but currently nothing other than youth long bows for gkids to poke things with, mainly targets in the back yard.
But do currently have and like the M41. Not to even mention with the demise of the M41, IMO, you knocked it outta the park on that swap, even without the extra grips, congrats.
