*Traded* NC-WTT Smith Model 66-2 2.5" 357 for S&W 2.5"-4" 357 P&R
Located in Winston Salem, NC. This is a long shot trade, but I'm going to go for it anyway.
I have a Smith Model 66-2 made sometime in the early 1980's I'd like to trade for a pinned and recessed k-frame size 2.5"-4" barrel 357. It has a red ramp front sight, adjustable rear, 6 round cylinder. It has Hogue Bantam grips on it which hold nice and compliment the size of the gun perfectly. Unfortunately the person who I got the gun from did not have the original box or wood grips. I have the split rubber grips that came on my 686 that also fit this gun nicely as well if they are preferred.
Trade Value- $700
This is a great gun, since I got it I've shot about 300 rounds of 38/38+p through it and maybe 50 of 357 with no failures. The thing is a dead on straight shooter.
I replaced the stock hammer spring with a Wilson Combat Reduced Power hammer spring and I changed the trigger return spring with a Wilson Combat 12# spring. They both have made the trigger smoother on the DA pull and the DA and SA pull much lighter. The gun still goes bang every time. I still have the original parts. The gun is a little dirty but I will be cleaning it promptly. I didn't have the chance to clean it this weekend.
I will upload a few pictures, PM me for more pictures if you'd like to see more. Thanks for looking!
Shipping:
If this is going to ship on a trade I'd like for you to pay to ship yours, I'll pay to ship mine. I live a mile from an FFL dealer and they are open every day of the week so using them is no problem.
FTF Trade:
As my profile says, I'm located in Winston Salem, NC. I have my Concealed Carry Permit for FTF trade and I don't mind filling out a bill of sale if there needs to be one. Please have either a PPP or CCW permit for verification as well.
