The wife and me have had the knott tied for 36 years now and we went for a train ride in WV Saturday.
It was alot of fun, the tracks have been there for over 100 years along with one of the Engines.
Two of them pushed us to the top of Bald Nob, took four hours for the trip. It was nice and warm to, 51 with a 5mph wind. Had a great time.
It is a ride of a life time if you are up to it. The old Shay engined are a piece of art in themselfs, the three cylinders produce the power to turn all of the wheels on the engine and coal car. The last PIC is of some of the spare parts at hand
