wow sounds like a great trigger anything smiler that dont cost that much lol

You can modify your own stock unit, look for youtube vids and at ar15.com. giessle are the way to go if you can afford, I use their ssa-e model.

I put the RRA 2 stage in mine several years ago and never looked back. The difference to stock trigger is day and night. Think I gave less than $100 for it.

Just curious why you guys see the need to get a new trigger for the 15/22. If your competing with it I can understand, I would probably do the same. But mine are suprisingly smooth and with a reasonable pull, I did polish the sear just because I do that on all of my guns.

The 15/22 isn't by any means an <MOA bench gun where you would need a light trigger pull and your not going to be shooting, accurately anyway, at long distance.

I've been considering putting in a new trigger on on of my AR's that's set up for distance, but that gun with stock trigger is <3/4 MOA out to +400 yards.

Now, don't get me wrong, this is America and you can darn well put your money into anything you like imo, just curious as to what you are getting out of it. Now if your competing with it I understand, I would probably do the same

Thats why they call them upgrades :D

and I have BRD and cant leave anything alone

Yup. I don't get the point of a trigger that costs as much as another 15-22, but then that's not what gets my rocks off. I'm happy with the gun almost stock. I would like a slightly better trigger, so I'll be polishing and 10 minute trigger jobbing it when I can.

But my level of "slightly better" may be different from other people's.

I just dabbed a little flitz on the sear and fired a couple dozen times, and repeated a couple times, then cleaned up and re-lubed. Couldn't believe what a difference it made on the Colt. 15/22 wasn't much to improve on.

I'm thinking about getting this one. Do you need special pins for it due to the 15-22's wider lower?

ok i am goin with the rra 2 stage but cant find anyone who has it in stock

As I stated to you on another thread - because I don't like 4-5 lb trigger pulls. Every rifle I have (other than my Garand) is under 3 lbs. The Jard in my 15-22 gives me a tad over 2 lbs.

The Garand breaks at 4.5 lbs because that is required for matches.

I've got the JP yellow springs on my modified stock 15-22 trigger, and another set on an ALG ACT. The only difference now is one is silver in color.

I prefer single-stage triggers unless I'm shooting long distance. The extra stage on a two-stage trigger just feels like creep to me when doing the type of shooting I typically do with my 15-22.

hum wonder how the ALG trigger would do with the JP reliability spring kit would do hum or the reduced power spring kit but arnt there light striking issues with reduced power kit?

Not a single light strike here. I put some in a friends rifle and he doesn't get them either. I don't doubt the people who have had issues, but I think most just install the hammer spring wrong. I've seen that happen a few times.
